An excellent illustration of such is the Taccia, which creates the appearance of a hanging lamp that is turned upside down. The original design from 1962 is roughly half the size of this current, scaled-down version. It has a gloss-white inside and matte-white exterior painted metal reflector. Transparent blown glass with directional changes makes up the diffuser. Extruded metal with a naturally anodized finish or matte black are both options for the body.
