I was exhibiting my new collection, created utilizing LED circuits, at the Frankfurt Trade Fair. I noticed a Japanese woman pointing at my lighting and shouting “wa wa” repeatedly. I approached her and asked her why, inquisitive, and she explained that “wa” meant “perfect.” I was moved and thanked her. I then turned to the light, which had no name, and chose to give it the name “Wa Wa.”
